Sleep demons part two

I’m getting bored of this now.

It wasn’t even late when it happened. I was talking to R who shouldn’t have been up late and then all of a sudden it was 3 a.m. I’ve checked the history again; nothing. I then checked the logs on the machine, it showed nothing. My glasses were on the floor under the desk, so they somehow fell off. I didn’t get any more cuts on my forehead. It was as if I turned off, my head went down, my glasses came off, and then magically it was 3 a.m. I’m not exhausted, hell I wasn’t even tired. It just happened.

I know I need to see the doctor which I will but it’s a bank holiday here today so everything is shut. So I’ll have to wait till 7:30 a.m. tomorrow to fill in a form and see if I’m lucky enough for a callback. It’s going to just be the same thing, learn to live with it but I don’t. Like a petulant child throwing his toy across the room. I don’t want to live like this. Am I just supposed to accept that I am missing time?
I did feel a bit weird before it happened. I think I’m starting to pick up when it’ll happen. If I can do that then maybe I can distract myself from it happening.

I know it’s hard to believe. Seizures come in all shapes and sizes. It could be a lot worse,e I could be conscious when I can’t move or do anything. I think if it ever progressed to that a ligature of rope and sturdy light fitting it would be. I wouldn’t even need the light fitting. I’ve just used the rope. Or tie wraps. That way I couldn’t back out.

That got morbid fast.

I got a text that I’ve had my stay at the motel extended to the 6th of September which is a relief. I was really worried they would kick me out and I’d have to move back. I wouldn’t have a problem with that but D most likely would. I think she just wants to move on but can’t because all my crap is there. Although she could box it all up and move it to her storage unit and bill me for it.

My muscles are so rigid. Like they’ve been tensed for hours and they just fucking ache like hell. I keep strutting around the room to try and ease them off but feels like I have swollen feet.
My god I moan. If a dog moaned this much you’d put the bastard down lol.

Happier things.

The girl’s weekend down to Brighton went okay. D took S to see her over the phone friend and it was a big success. They had a sleep and S was very excited the next day. Hopefully, they’ll keep in touch and maybe her friend can come up here. I think S would love that. It’s great when she’s happy. Being a teenager can’t be much fun but when they are happy I think it’s amazing. I think D secretly had a good time staying in an Airbnb and walking along the seafront. Shame about the 6 hour drive they had to do but far better than getting the train while everyone is on strike.

Almost forgot, I had breakfast with an old friend yesterday which was nice. We went to a not-so-sticky floor restaurant/bar and had a full English breakfast with extra back pudding for me. It was amazing. Great company and great food. After dropping them off along the way I started to feel funny so was in a mad rush to get back to the safety of the motel. But that aside it was great to get out and talk to people again.

I’m thinking of taking R to the Trafford Centre to play mini golf or bowling this week. Will need to ask her mum and see what she says. It makes sense to me as lot of shops to go in and lots of benches if I need a break to sit down. Gtot a little bit of money stashed away so can use that for lunch. Then her mum can hopefully collect her.

I’ve rambled enough. Another cup of tea and I’ll lay down in bed and see what happens.

Oh a random photo. Almost forgot.

Procrastination

I had a good day. I also had a confusing day but we will sweep that one under the rug for now. Has anyone ever used BueStacks before? amazing bit of software that lets you create your own ‘Android tablet’ and you can put your Google account on then most importantly, play games you play on your phone but instead on your own laptop/desktop which I find amazing.

I can be typing this out and stop to check out something on the app I have running in the background. You can zoom in, set different resource usage and also have macros. Ahh macros. I can record a sequence of clicks when grinding in a game and leave it to it in the background while I get on with something else. Always loved macros. The permanent pursuit of ever-changing macro detection tools.
My good day. I had a productive meeting with some clients who need some IT training for a mental health ward. For free obviously, so I’m taking on the project and turning it into an all-in-one service. So a patient comes in, I’ll help them set up email accounts or how to get on government sites, you know all the basics. Then when it’s time for them to leave the hospital I can give them a free laptop or tablet with some data sims to then go off into the world, digitally equipped and not excluded anymore. Huzzah. So I’ll do the training on Fridays from 10 am to 2 pm and adjust it depending on attendance. A member of staff will be there in case they throw things at me. Should I tell them I’m crazy too? probably not. That might help them. Seeing me functioning so all is not lost. Big-headed much.

Then the weird thing happened between 12 pm and 2.30 pm. But, yes, I know under the rug.
I went to see my social worker, Julie or Judy. That’s so bad I don’t remember her name. She bought me a coffee at the canteen and we sat there talking about stuff for a good 1.5 hours. Not going over my life story but just chatting about different things, mental health and physical health, but it was so nice. I haven’t spoken to a proper person in a while. Especially one who is knowledgeable in health care. We came up with a three-step plan that she’s going to do tomorrow. I’m worried that the hotel won’t be renewed for another week since Monday is a bank holiday. She said in no circumstances would they stop funding the hotel until I am in a flat/house or whatever. But she will call them to get double confirmation and text me about it. Then the other one was to sort my benefits as they are missing money off it, so she has access to an adviser who can help so that’ll be a three-way call next week. And the final thing is she wants to hunt down my other social worker who is supposed to be finding me a place to leave, corner him and then throttle him. Extreme

Those weren’t the best bits. The best bit was when she gave me a £20 voucher for the supermarket from her department. They also gave me a bag full of things, toothpaste & and toothbrush, shower gels, 6 pairs of socks, shorts, few tops- all brand new and untouched. Oh, and a mug, deodorant, pens and a notebook and yeah it was thoughtful of them. I spent the voucher already on my way back. I discovered that if I use a small trolley don’t have to struggle with stick. New skill unlocked! Bought a lot of nice things that can made with hot water, cordial/squash, porridge tubs and just all the things I needed.

And now I sit, off to bed. Possibly. Possibly another terrible documentary on Prime.

What a lovely bank holiday weekend we've just had. The weather was so nice and every time we went out we found decent parking. Ok so finding it hard to not be British and proclaim it was 'To hot'. As it was at times but that was due to sun burn and lack of wind!

The weekend was also the two year mark for me and Jen. She bought me an awesome alarm clock thingie where I can plug my iPod in to charge before abusing it for the day. I bought her a cd she was missing from her Rob Zombie collection. The Devils rejects. Which by the way is a truly great film. The first picture is of an opened lilly from a boquet of flowers I got Jen. Oh word to the wise; the pollen stains! Jen made me a card with a cross stitch she did on the front. Although I don't have pictures of that. Meh.

So we are dog sitting for Jen's aunt. Bob. I think I posted of a picture of him last year when we were house sitting for them. He's four years old, quarter of the size of Molly and is a jack russel thingie. He is lovely although he has never been trained nor has he ever been taken for a walk. Which is really horrible. We soon rectified that and took both him and Molly on lots of walks and runs and you should have seen his little nub of a tail wag, he was so happy!

The next set of pictures are from the different parks we went to. The first one is a park in Bury that we randomly went to. There were people playing cricket in the middle of the park which had its own pitch. Was fun to watch as the people playing were really good. We mooched over to Heaton Park and after battling are way to the car park we luckily found one of the best spots.

As its Europe's largest municipal park it has a big golf course hidden in there, so thought it was time for fancy picture taking. We walked past the lake as well where there were lots of people on the water. Would be so much fun to take the dogs on there just to see how they would do.

By this point I think we were all getting nicely sun burned heh.

We stopped for a while to bask in the sun and molly started trying to steal are coke bottles before we finished them. She has a nice obsession of ragging them. As you can see Bob was just trying to chill as he's old while I distracted molly by playing with the bottle with her.

OH and then I thought bob could have a picture. He was basically asleep in my hand, so the picture wasn't as mean as it looks!

He is quite funny, although from baby sitting him we've noticed that Molly is really defensive about her stuff. Despite giving them two seperate bowls each on different ends of the room Molly still won't let him eat. Wouldn't mind except that Pepsi (the cat) is the dominant male in the house, and Molly is a girlie!

He also snores. Very very very loudly which wakes us up in the middle of the night.

On the way out I thought I'd take a picture of heaton hall in all its prettyness.

So that was on Sunday. We spend saturday inside not doing much of anything and just relaxing. I played to much Need for Speed on the xbox, and then we watched randomness till the small hours.

On Monday we were invited by Jen's dad and girlfriend out to a meal for lunch for are anniversary which was really nice of them. We picked up Jen's nan on the way and arranged to meet them at Pennington Flash in Leigh which is down the road from her Dad's. We all had a lovely time there. Bob especially. We managed to get a picnic table and setup camp there while we waited for them to turn up. So an hour later of burning in the sun they showed and we all went off to have food. We went to a place called Toby Carvery which was awesome. You fill a plate up with random caveryness and then we all had dessert afterwards. It was a really nice and unexpected treat. Belgian waffles with ice cream and cherries is the best dessert ever!

And so that was the end of the bank holiday. As soon as we got back, the clouds thickened and turned grey. The rain drops started to fall. A suitable end to a lovely weekend as the weather is now allowed to be bad again till next weekend 🙂

Hope you all had a lovely bank holiday weekend too.
