So, it’s been a while since I posted anything. Sorry about that. I had to take a few days to clear my headspace, which has worked wonders I must say. That was sarcastic, I did nothing apart from be suicidal. I reached out for help and got some. I had a seizure this morning. It only lasted a few minutes, but my central nervous system is playing hell today. Just constant jerks of the hands. Which I must say while holding a cup of tea, my laptop feared for its life. Such an annoying after effect. I ended up sitting on my right hand as that was the culprit. Could still feel it twinging but it’s okay now. I would love to know how this all started. That something can just ‘go wrong’ and that’s it your landed with a thing, disorder whatever and that’s your life now. You must learn the triggers. Thank god in a way that I was already messed up with BPD, so I knew the basics of identifying a trigger or even knowing what one was, otherwise I’d be totally lost.

It’s annoying that I have both things though. If I’m not suicidal, self-harming or emotionally available, then I’m passing out, zoning out and have seizures. To have them both in the same 24-hour period is difficult for. I’m sure everyone else out there can cope, but I’m struggling. I know that in a matter of weeks I will be in my dream house when they finish the electrics and that I’ll be very happy there. At the same time, I also realise that it’s going to be same shit different day and that I will still need to prepare for it happening. Therefore, living with it seems the only logical explanation so I’ll do some more research. Bard (google AI) has taken a beating the past two days with suicidal ideation. It detects it from the questions you are asking, so it includes a prewritten response of go and seek help, here are some phone numbers. But if you phrase things differently you can some seriously messed up stats and information out of it. I’m not going to post on here what I’ve been searching for. I wouldn’t like to be the one who throws you down the rabbit hole.

Nice to see that not content with one war, let’s start another in the middle east. Guessing here in the UK, we have spread ourselves thin with ammunition so we can’t follow blindness the US and donate to the cause. I don’t really do politics, sides, and general argumentative statements on here. Simply because I was just love people stop killing each other. Theres big business involved in killing so it’s not something that can be stopped. I often think of the world, how would I judge the human race. If anyone from a different angle saw the earth, would they judge all of us as a blood thirsty species? Or many we get lucky, and they look at a nice suburb somewhere with a nice fence around, a gated community. Anyways, enough of that before I get dragged into an argument. I’m in the pro-USA & special relationship that we have with them camp.

I was up at 3am this morning as I just rage-quit life at 8pm thinking ‘Fuck it, today can just stop’. It was nice being up so early music blaring on the headphones, but the one annoyance is that I can’t boil the kettle to make a cup of tea. This for us brits is a crazy situation, so I sat there waiting till 7am before I could use the kettle to not wake or anger the general population in the motel (the walls are very thin. Talking two slabs of plaster board sealed together to separate the rooms. Remember advert years ago, it was Nike or something or other where they could run through the walls of a building. Pretty much this place.

Frikkin seizures’ because I have a strategic meeting, whatever that is, with all my support people across all agencies meeting at once to discuss me and how my case is doing. Peter, one of the social workers explained that its nothing to worry about, that I don’t have to attend if I didn’t want to, we agreed yesterday that I’ll join through teams and do it that way. He also said I can leave at any time too. It’s at 3pm and will last an hour. I’m nervous about it, especially with everyone joining in. I think the only thing that I can ask for is some support with care, staying here for another few weeks and that’s about it really. I know my psychotherapy will start soon which is great that they’ve FINALLY done something about it.

I’ll go and pace the room till 3pm.

Parental what?

What are your parents values? how do they differ from mine?

I think its safe to say, with my parents, that if you do the exact opposite of what they did then you will turn out ok. Evidence number one, “Mummy I have a headache”, “Swallow this” *hands Valium to a ten-year-old*. Evidence 2, All Catholics are evil and you must be better than them because they are sub-human scum and the pakis too.

They had a very unique parenting system. We moved to quite a remote farm and they were working a lot on the water farm. The staff became family and friends I think they taught me and my brother more about life than our parents. That said, we are alive, damaged, but alive so can’t fault them for that. Some of the stuff they pulled, said and done were incredible. They differ so much from my values in just about every way. Racism and evil Catholics are the big stand-out ones. The hatred that man had for religious folks was insane. I am in no way like this, nor are my children. Everyone is equal, everyone can be who or whatever they want to be. Be good to each other and karma is a very real thing.

Its in the kool aid. Leadership 101.

Daily writing prompt
Do you see yourself as a leader?

Yes. Yes, I do.

See I’m fortunate, some may disagree with that, taking an obscene amount of medication daily. Any fears, anxiety or doubts are usually fleeting. When the crunch comes I always rise to the call. I’m terrible on a 121 basis, but in a group setting, herding people into groups to accomplish tasks whilst focussing on the bigger picture has never really been a problem. Most jobs in my life have been fiendishly stressful and draining. Thanks to those medications it made me inebriated and loose enough to function well.

Head of marketing and IT was my hardest job, leading a team of coders, designers and tech staff gave me a lot of pleasure in seeing how well we all worked together. Because of that great team work, I was able to relax and the 121 stuff wasn’t so bad in the end.

I’m not afraid to be the first one to say Yes! or speak up in a room. I am likely to talk over you to be heard. I can and will be a twat. The total opposite of what I am outside of work. I’m defensive of my team and would take a hit for them frequently. I would use my bonus to buy them things, flowers, toys, and spa days. We would have a monthly meal somewhere nice for lunch.

Unfortunately, you then get jealous people, such as an operations director, who had no control over my team become very rattled and insecure. He pushed me at every turn to leave the company and eventually after my mental health ‘broke’ I was gone. Huh. In a previous answer to QOTD I said I had no grudges. He has a grudge. Down and down I plummeted to a lifestyle of drugs, unhealthy coping skills and struggling to keep going. I self-harmed excessively, dabbled in suicide and was unstable.
Huh. Can see why the wife left me rea…………. When the hell did this post become so damn depressing.

Are you a leader?
Yes. Yes I believe I am
Done.

A healthy dose of EGO

What are 3 traits I love about yourself? describe them in detail.

That’s like the biggest ego massage of a question, what happens if you don’t love yourself, have no redeeming qualities and generally suck? … self-esteem issues, me? No. Of course not.

Kindness
I will find all ways of pleasing someone in as much capacity as possible. Whether it’s giving something back to the homeless or picking up sweets randomly for the kids. Apparently, I do this to a fault. People become accustomed to this treatment and I end up not enjoying it any more which sucks. But before that, it makes me insanely happy to see someone else being happy because of my small gesture. Skin-tingly nice feelings.

Loyalty
From keeping a secret about a boy you like or that suspicious new flower bed in the garden. You can count on me to keep you loyal. I don’t think I have ever jumped ship on anyone and pretty much all my friends will have me fighting in their corners Hell I spent three years of uni looking after my drunken breather and got them home safe each night. Do you want to take on an army? O’ll be stood side by side with you facing impossible odds. Whatever it takes.

Is It bad that I can only think of two traits? The rest in my mind are terrible when I think about them. Negative traits I could talk about in another post.

Short Story: About similarites

Christ…

The world is a big and diverse place, but there are also many similarities between people. We all have the same basic needs, such as food, water, and shelter. We all experience emotions, such as love, joy, and sadness. And we all have the capacity for compassion, empathy, and love.

Sometimes, it can be easy to focus on our differences. We might be different in terms of our culture, our religion, or our language. But it’s important to remember that our similarities are just as important.

Short Story: About Abandonment

The little girl sat on the curb, her suitcase next to her. She had been waiting for hours, but her parents hadn’t come.

She didn’t know why they had left her. She had been a good girl, she had done everything they had asked of her. But it hadn’t been enough.

She was scared. She didn’t know where she was going to go or what she was going to do. She just knew that she was all alone.

She started to cry. She cried for her parents, she cried for herself, and she cried for the future that she didn’t know if she would have.

A woman walking by saw the little girl crying and stopped. “What’s wrong?” she asked.

The little girl told her the story, and the woman listened. When the little girl was finished, the woman said, “Don’t worry, sweet heart. I’ll help you.”

The woman took the little girl to her house and gave her a place to stay. She helped the little girl find a new school and make new friends. And she helped the little girl heal from the pain of abandonment.

The little girl never forgot the woman who helped her. She knew that she would never have been able to get through that time without her.
